Sodium Humate

Sodium humate works as feed additive

Scientific research in recent years has shown that sodium humate, as a new type of feed additive, has a peculiar effect and plays a very important role in aquaculture, and will certainly promote the development of the feed industry.

Due to its special breeding environment, the aquaculture industry has special requirements for feed production. First, the particle density is small and it has a suspension effect in water. However, to meet this condition, the feed will cause a decrease in the adhesion of the particulate components in the granulation production, which will cause the product to be easily pulverized during transportation, and the consumption rate of the fish or shrimp to the feed will decrease, and the breeding cost will increase. The application of sodium humate will solve this problem well.

Sodium humate has colloidal properties and has good adsorption and adhesion. The loose structure is again shown in the water. At present, the Russian aquatic feed processing and production industry has a good application of sodium humate and advanced technology. China’s feed processing technology is still relatively rough, especially the research on seawater particle feed production technology has just started. According to relevant information, the Institute of Oceanology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has made a major breakthrough in the processing and formulation technology of seawater particulate feed. It is believed that the success of this technology will better promote the development of aquaculture.

Aquaculture applications

The effect of sodium humate in aquatic bait is reflected in the following aspects: 1. The utilization rate of bait is improved, the feed conversion rate is increased by about 10%; 2 the growth rate is accelerated. For example, in the culture of P. monodon, the breeding time is shortened by nearly one quarter; 3 has the effect of drug synergy. Adding proper amount of BFA to aquatic feed, the mortality rate of fish and shrimp is greatly reduced, and the anti-stress ability is also significant; 4 has the effect of improving meat quality.

Zhanjiang Ocean University and Zhanjiang Fubang Biochemical Co., Ltd. in the Nansan Island Aquaculture Zone, using the application effect of our company humic acid in shrimp culture for 2 years, the result is that the yield increase effect is significant, and the yield per mu pond is increased. Up to 80 ~ 100kg.
0.5% sodium humate was added to the feed of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, and grass carp and chain fish were tested.

The weight gain rate was increased by 17.6% and 24.3% compared with the control, and the survival rate was increased by 15%. And test the phenomenon of undead fish in the breeding period. Sodium humate also has the same special effects in other livestock and poultry farming [6], such as: Hungary’s sodium humate as an additive, the quality of pigs grows to 110kg, and the breeding time is shortened by one week. In fisheries, the yield increase in salmon farming was 16.3%.

The Dongfeng Farm in Beijing conducted a trial on laying hens with an addition of 0.3%. The egg production rate increased by 26.98%. Zhanjiang Agricultural Science Institute used sodium humate to fertilize the shelf pigs. In the first stage of 60 days, the comparative weight gain rate was 17.2%, and the second stage weight gain was 25%. Beijing Dongfeng Farm tested the female carp and the larvae. Compared with the control group, the sodium humate additive had a weight gain rate of 32%, the weight gain rate of the larvae was 27.3%, and the methyl skin was 32.5% higher than the control group. In summary, sodium humate, as a special feed additive, has played a significant role in the aquaculture industry.
